How to add Gadgets above and below in Header section in Blogger?

If you create a section in your blog’s header, it lets you add gadgets or HTML scripts above and below of your blog’s header. It is very easy to create a section to add widgets above and below of your blog’s header.
Follow these simple edits in your template and create a section.Warning : Before making any changes in your template, please backup your template.

Search for the code with id = “header” in the “Edit HTML” section of your blog withoutexpanding widget templates. You can also press Ctrl+f to activate search field in your browser bar.

Now change showaddelement=’no‘ to showaddelement=’yes‘ and maxwidgets=’1‘ to maxwidgets=’5‘ , which means you can add maximum of 5 widgets in your header section.

Once done, the code should look like the one below.

After doing this, save your template.
